Our client is looking for an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use properties. This role is all about driving performance, shaping strategy, and staying close to the market. What the Role Looks Like:
• You'll work closely with third-party operators to boost revenue, manage costs, and keep operations running smoothly.
• You'll stay plugged into the market-talking to brokers, tenants, lenders, and other local players to keep your finger on the pulse.
• You'll help evaluate new deals and development opportunities, bringing a strategic lens to underwriting and due diligence.
• You'll lead the charge as properties move from development to lease-up and stabilization, making sure everything stays on track.
• You'll manage relationships with property managers, leasing teams, legal, and consultants-keeping everyone aligned and accountable.
• You'll travel regularly to visit sites and stay engaged in key markets.
• You'll monitor economic trends and adjust asset strategies as needed-whether it's time to hold, sell, or reinvest.
• You'll oversee financial reporting, valuations, and investor updates.
• You'll approve budgets and capital plans, and make sure everything complies with financing terms.
• You'll run point on dispositions, from broker selection to closing.
• You'll collaborate across internal teams and external partners to keep strategy and execution in sync.
What They're Looking For:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in real estate, finance, or a related field is a plus.
• At least 5 years of asset management experience, ideally with multifamily and mixed-use properties.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with joint ventures and acquisitions is helpful.
• Great communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders and keep things moving.
• Strategic mindset with a willingness to challenge assumptions and think creatively.
• Comfortable with travel and being active in the field.
